24년 1월 3주차 영어 어휘 정리

들어가며

지난 번 영어 공부를 시작하며 남긴 블로그에 이어 두 번째 영어 어휘 정리 블로그를 작성하려고 합니다. 지난 한 주는 여러 업무로 인해 전화 영어를 1번 밖에 진행하지 못했습니다. 하지만 1달 6회 전화 영어 수강을 순조롭게 진행하고 있다는 데에 의의를 두고 있습니다. 다음 주에는 마지막 2번이 예정되어 있습니다.

24년 1월 2주차 영어 어휘 정리

그럼 이제 1월 3주차 영어 어휘 정리를 시작합니다.

 

TOPIC 1: BAR & PARTY

       : pub / bar / bartender / (alcoholic) drink / soju / beer / wine /cocktail / promotion event / free drinks on birthday / limitless cocktail day

    2) Kinds of Gatherings

        : party / gathering / welcome / farewell party / housewarmig party / home party / year end party

    3) Bar & Party에서의 행동 묘사

         : drink (alcohol) / get drunk / throw up(토하다) / vomit(토하다) / black out(의식을 잃다) / relax / chill(놀다?) / sell / offer / play [game] (ex) a card game, darts, ...)

    4) Party 개최 등

         : have a party/ throw a party / hold a party / get together / gather / have a gathering / have fun with / celebrate / do a toast with [beverage/drink] / dance to [music]

    5) Bar & Party에서의 나에 대한 묘사

        : drunk / intoxicated (취한) / tipsy(술이 약간 취한) / tiddly(술이 약간 취한) / dizzy(어지러운) / gross(역겨운) / disgusted (역겨워 하는)

이번주는 Bar & Party에 대해 배워봤습니다. Party는 특히 Global Manner에서 중요한 문화라고 느끼고 있습니다. 그리고 한국인들은 여러 가지 Gathering에 익숙하지요. 따라서 Bar & Party에 대한 표현은 여러 모로 유익하고 중요한 표현이라고 생각하고 있습니다.
